I went into a classroom last week and there were no digit cards available for my lesson. I decided to make my own with the number parade along the top to go along with our curriculum. Great for modeling! Borders from Print Candee and fonts from Kevin and Amanda!

Personal Numbers

I am super excited about my new creation! I am just getting into classrooms to model math lessons and wanted to create a personal numbers activity to help the students get to know me. I came up with a list of numbers that pertain to me....my shoe size, my age, the year I was married, how long I've been teaching, etc. and am going to have the students try and figure out what each number means. Not only will they get to know me, but they'll also have to think about each number and it will help them with their number sense! I hope this is something that you can use. I made a template that I thought anyone could use with blank cards for you to fill in your own personal number. Enjoy!
